Refurbishments
It isn’t always necessary to rip out your old kitchen and throw it away just to improve or change its appearance. For over 15 years, La Haute Cuisine have been offering refurbishments of existing kitchens. The transformation needn’t be disruptive to the normal day-to-day use of the kitchen if, for instance, only the doors and drawer fronts are changed. The usual reason for a change is that the old kitchen may be showing signs of wear, may look tired and old fashioned, or be a colour or texture no longer to the liking of the owner. The various levels of refurbishment consist of:-
1. Just changing the frontal (doors and drawer fronts) will take an average of 10 hours and, more often than not, cupboards and drawers won’t require emptying.
2. Changing frontals, cornices, light rails, plinths and any exposed end panels takes twice as long and sometimes entails removing appliances from their housings in order to remove end panels. However, there still isn’t a lot of disruption to the normal working of the kitchen.
3. More disruptive and taking longer to achieve as, in addition to all level 2 alterations, worktops and possibly sink, tap and appliances are changed. Only cost effective if the layout of the kitchen and quality of the carcasses (units) are in good condition and can remain unchanged.

We will take an accurate survey of your kitchen, taking note of hinge positions on the doors and will advise you on improvements that can be made to the existing configuration. For example, we can turn a simple cupboard with a side opening door into a more useful soft-close deep drawer unit, or incorporate pull out wirework or a Le Mans corner carousel into existing units.
In addition to standard sizes, we have access to a huge range of bespoke sized doors and drawer fronts in a variety of colours, materials, textures and designs. Worktops can be supplied in laminate, granite, solid wood or quartz. Appliances from Neff, Bosch, Rangemaster along with sinks from Franke, Blanco and many other makes are readily available.
